Gorgeous antique porcelain jardiniere or planter which features a hand-painted floral motif with pink roses.It is styled in the Art Nouveau manner with a grey-toned body, scalloped edges, and two elegant handles.Similar items from this era were produced by European manufacturers like Ernst Wahliss in Vienna or RS Prussia.


This piece features a classic oval shape with twin loop side handles, an asymmetrical reticulated (pierced) gallery along the upper rim, and elegant gold-gilt accenting along its scalloped edges. The front displays a central hand-painted floral motif featuring delicate white wild roses amidst soft green foliage and pink-shaded background tones.The execution of the molded scrollwork and pierced openings is highly characteristic of premium manufacturers active around 1890–1915. There is a makers mark on the underside of the base. This piece is 18 cm tall, 29 cm long and 14.5 cm wide.
