Vintage Spring Reverb, Built for Modern Pedalboards

The Crazy Tube Circuits White Whale Junior delivers the unmistakable sound and feel of a genuine vintage spring reverb and tube-style tremolo in one of the world's most compact fully analog pedals.

Despite its incredibly compact footprint, the White Whale Junior houses the exact same three-spring reverb assembly found in its larger predecessors, bringing authentic splash, drip, and spacious vintage ambience to virtually any amplifier.

Inspired by the legendary spring reverbs and tremolos found in classic American tube amplifiers, the White Whale Junior captures the character of those iconic circuits while offering the flexibility and control modern players demand.

A Real Spring Tank, Powered Like the Originals

Unlike digital recreations or compact analog reverbs that feed the springs directly from a low-level signal, the White Whale Junior drives its genuine three-spring tank using a dedicated analog power amplifier with ample headroom, just like vintage standalone spring reverb units.

The driver circuit has also been carefully voiced to recreate the subtle saturation associated with tube power amplifiers and output transformers, allowing the springs to respond with remarkable warmth, depth, and touch sensitivity.

Dedicated Dwell, Tone, Mix, and Volume controls provide considerably more flexibility than the single Reverb knob found on most vintage amplifiers. From subtle ambience to explosive surf-inspired splash and drip, the White Whale Junior can be dialed in for virtually any style.

Like every genuine spring reverb, it responds to movement, vibration, and your playing dynamics, becoming part of the instrument itself rather than simply processing your signal.

Vintage Amp Tremolo

The tremolo section combines the smooth pulse of classic optical tremolos with the organic movement of vintage tube bias designs, resulting in a musical modulation that feels instantly familiar.

Following the architecture of classic brownface and blackface amplifiers, the spring reverb sits before the tremolo stage, allowing both your dry guitar signal and the reverb decay to pulse together for the spacious, three-dimensional movement that has defined vintage amp reverb and tremolo for decades.

Independent Speed, Depth, and Volume controls make it easy to dial in everything from gentle movement to deep, hypnotic pulses, while also providing enough output to compensate for perceived volume loss at higher tremolo depths.

Modern Features, Vintage Feel

While the White Whale Junior faithfully recreates the experience of vintage amplifier effects, it also incorporates modern conveniences including relay-based true bypass switching, soft-click footswitches, independent bypass for each effect, and user-selectable startup behavior.

Compact, fully analog, and remarkably inspiring to play, the White Whale Junior brings the sound, feel, and interaction of vintage spring reverb and tube tremolo to virtually any rig without requiring a large amplifier.
