CASH090 RARE China 1912 10 Cash in Brass.  PCGS XF45. Y-301a; CCC-656; cf.Duan-3163; CL-MG.33; cf.W-989 (G-12). Double border of beads and solid line. Not listed in Woodward as being struck in brass and as such presumable EXTREMELY RARE. Zhou Qinyuan and Li Ping Wen authors of "Concise Catalogue of Modern Chinese Copper Coins" believe that these pieces are patterns rather than a circulation issue. An interesting piece fully deserving of further in-depth research. Good strike with moderate signs of circulation.  PCGS only graded 3; VF30, XF45 and AU58.  Krause catalogue did not list any price information on this coin because it is so rare.  Attractively toned. Provenance: Ex: Dan Ching Collection.
