Snuggie Bear was halfway convinced this old farmhouse was haunted until I noticed the chickens weren’t running and the windmill wasn’t turning. Turns out it’s just a really nice old painting.

Up for sale is an original antique oil painting on artist board, featuring a peaceful farmhouse, red barn, winding lane, and windmill tucked into a quiet country landscape. The painting comes housed in what appears to be an older decorative frame that complements the artwork beautifully.

The artist did sign the painting, but time has been kinder to the scenery than the signature. It’s present but too faint for this old bear to confidently identify, so I’m leaving that mystery for the next caretaker.

The reverse still retains part of an old Philadelphia art supplier label, adding another nice touch to its history.

This is a genuine older painting with decades of honest character.
