Well hey there…

Snuggie Bear here. Every now and then I find something that makes me stop and say, “Well… somebody had a whole lotta talent.” This is one of those pieces.

Up for sale is a handcrafted studio pottery covered casserole or bean pot featuring a beautiful flowing earth-tone glaze with rich shades of olive, brown, blue, and mauve. Every angle catches the light a little differently, making this one of those pieces that’s just as much art as it is cookware.

The bottom is artist signed, but despite our best detective work, we couldn’t confidently identify the potter. If you recognize the signature, you’ll probably know more than old Snuggie Bear—and I’d honestly love to hear about it.

Whether you display it on a shelf, use it as a serving dish, or add it to a studio pottery collection, it’s a striking handmade piece with plenty of character.

🐻 Snuggie Bear Says…

“I asked three people who made this. One shrugged, one squinted, and one wandered off looking for snacks. Whoever the potter was, they sure knew their way around a wheel and a kiln.”
