This item is being sold for the employee appreciation fund at the continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Maine where I live with my husband.  All items are donated by the residents of the community and the net proceeds of all sales go to the fund that is distributed annually to the wonderful staff who help the many elderly residents here.  I will give all the information I can about each item, but I am not the original owner.

I have here a Vintage MCM Kosta Boda Heavy Thick Glass Ice Bucket with Chrome Handle & Original Tongs 5¼”.  The thick glass (about ¼” thick) bucket is in good condition, it stands about 5 ¼” tall and is 5 15/16” across at the top (including the glass 5 7/16” opening).  I do not see that the glass is signed but the original owner (who just moved to Assisted Living) assures me it is Kosta Boda.  She tells me she bought it in Vienna when she lived there in the 1980s. Both the chrome handle and the chrome tongs show a lot of wear, they each have pitting and some chipping on the handle – SEE PICS!!  Also, the tongs are a bit askew so I assume they were bent at one point.

This is a neat vintage piece.  I realize that the shipping is high as it is so heavy so please make me an offer, I would love to move it along to someone who will use it!!
