~~ GET THE REAL DEAL RIGHT HERE!  ORIGINAL 1970'S (AMERICAN MADE) FACTORY CADILLAC PARTS~~  Caddypartz eBay Store Link:    https://www.ebay.com/str/caddypartz DESCRIPTION:  This auction is for a (1) working Door Lock ACTUATOR.  This ONLY fits the PASSENGER DOOR of the 1971-75 Cadillac Eldorado.  Actuators are a fully non-repairable item when yours goes bad...you have to throw away the old one and replace it with another.  Pretty simple to do, actually.  If your lock pull doesn't go up and down, then likely the lock actuator has seized.    IMPORTANT NOTE:  THIS WILL NOT WORK IN ANY 4-DOOR MODELS.  ITEM CONDITION:  This actuator in great visual & working condition for being 50 years old.  Strong Push/Pull when activated.  Ready to bolt in and use.  The rubber top boot/cap is amazingly good - usually they have dry-rotted by this moment in time.  It has the 3 screw mounting bracket on the back, but some models only used 2 of those sockets on the bracket.  Video & Pictures show the lock plunger in the UP and DOWN positions, to assure you that this is not a seized unit.  Fully bench tested and it passed with flying colors.  Seal coated exterior to prevent rust for the long term (slight decay spot at the far bottom on backside).  I haven't seen one of these listed online in ages, so don't snooze and lose on this hard to find part.  I'd recommend that you grease up your window rails and lubricate the lock mechanism at the same time that you replace this actuator.   Visit the Caddypartz eBay Store for HUNDREDS of VINTAGE ORIGINAL 1971-76 Cadillac Parts~!
