G Plan (E Gomme) Librenza Tola and Black mid-century modern mirrored curved dressing table.
The Librenza range was introduced around 1958 and reflects the style of the period.
The table has a mirrored back with a boomerang-shaped floating top over twin pedestals, each having two drawers and is raised on black lacquered tapering legs with brass feet.
This dresser desk is particularly rare among the Tola and Black series, with a beautiful design and also exceptional practicality. The drawers are deep and hold so much storage.
This dressing table is in excellent condition given its age. See photos for a mark on the top and some scratches to the side. The drawers have some small stains in, as to be expected for a piece of this age, however, it being solid wood, these are things that can be sanded out.
Mirror in excellent condition. No G-plan stickers, but it's very obviously G-plan. Solid wood.
I have been using it as a desk for many years and although the original stool is long gone, I found it very comfortable to work at with a computer chair.
