The bag is in overall good condition.  The canvas fabric is a little dirty in places and the leather (possibly faux leather) trim has wear from years of storage and general use, but is still soft and supple and not brittle.  The bag does stand on its own.  All the zippers are present and function as designed.  The pockets are clean and not ripped or torn.  The bottom of the bag has minimal wear.  The gold name plate at the bottom of the bag is in rough condition.
