The dbx 386 is a professional two-channel vacuum-tube microphone and instrument preamplifier with integrated digital output capabilities. It combines analog tube amplification with dbx Type IV analog-to-digital conversion and supports sampling rates up to 96 kHz with selectable 16-, 20- and 24-bit resolution. Each channel provides independent drive, analog-output and digital-output controls, along with selectable +48 V phantom power, 20 dB pad, phase reverse and low-cut filtering.
