This vintage mid-century organic modern Cypress Knee Table Lamp, or “Old Florida” lamp, was hand crafted from the naturally occurring brutalist root projections (knees) of the Bald Cypress tree.  This beauty is all original: The shellac finish gleams, the shape is exciting from every angle and the amoeba shape base really sets it apart.  Sold back in the day from roadside trading posts as souvenirs from the days when Florida was still “wild”.
