Up for auction is a very nice vintage Lincoln-Mercury "Grand National Safe Driving Road Rally" racing jacket which I think was made in the USA.  It is in very good to excellent original condition.  The Talon zipper works great. Drawstring along bottom of jacket is fully intact and functional. The jacket is a windbreaker style and therefore unlined.  Has a button stand up collar with one button hole and two buttons, both in excellent condition. In addition to the "Road Rally" patch, it has two others: one on the right sleeve for the Lincoln-Mercury Sports Panel, and another on the stripe which I do not recognize.  The left sleeve has a pocket on it, typical for the time period. (For your smokes, I guess!) There is a VERY small split on the RH cuff which does not detract from functionality or appearance.

It has no date of manufacture or copyright date on it but from the style of the jacket and the patch I would estimate it to be from the 1960s.  (Lincoln-Mercury sponsored these safe driving road rallies for new drivers in the 1960s.) There is no care tag. This is a great jacket that I have had for many years but have hardly worn, so it is time for someone else to enjoy it.

The jacket does not have a maker label but does have a size label - it is a Small (S, see photo). I wear a large shirt and it fits me snugly, so I would say it's definitely on the bigger side for a "small" Measurements are:

Shoulder seam to shoulder team (top of sleeves):  18"
Total length, from top of color to bottom hem:  28"
Sleeves:  24"
Armpit to armpit:  20"
Talon brand zipper length:  21.5"
RH lower pocket size (approximate):  6" x 7", with a snap closer on the flap..
