This series was Marvel's third venture into animated X-Men television, after the pilot X-Men:Pryde of the X-Men faltered, and was not picked up. It was followed by X-Men: The Animated Series. X-Men: Evolution aired for four seasons from November 4, 2000 to May 27, 2003 on the Kids WB -Cartoon Network.
