Replacement Kitchenaid 3.5L Stand Mixer Transmission Gearbox Centre Plate Gear.

The centre gear has 11 Teeth.

If your mixer is 110V 60Hz, please check the number of teeth.

If your gear has 13 Teeth, this plate will not fit.

Normally when the Planetary stops turning and the motor is still

running, it is safe to presume that a failure has occurred on the transmission chain.

This is normally the Planetary Orbit.

In some cases, it has been noted that one or more of the

Transmission Gears or the Gearbox Centre Plate Gear

in the Gearbox Head has failed.

This failure previously resulted in buying a new Motor.

The Transmission can now be repaired quickly and easily by

removing and replacing the damaged Centre Plate Gear.
