I’m selling my wife’s 2016 Peugeot as spares or repair, although it is still running and driving.
Vehicle details:
2.0 BlueHDi engine
Mileage: 128,900 miles (this may increase slightly as my wife is still using the car for commuting to work)
Automatic gearbox
MOT until 30/03/2027
Road tax is approximately £30 per year
The car has two known issues:
Coolant leak – There is a coolant leak on the driver's side, around the water pump and expansion tank area. I’m not a mechanic, so I can’t say exactly where the leak is coming from.
Electrical issue – Sometimes when you get into the car and turn the key in the ignition, a battery warning appears, even though the battery is brand new. It seems to be some kind of electrical fault or short circuit, as it happens more often after rainy or damp weather.
The car is still being driven locally. It should be fine for journeys of up to around 50 miles, but because of the coolant leak, I would not recommend driving it any further.
The vehicle is being sold by auction. The winning bidder will be responsible for arranging collection of the car.
Car Location: PL6 7EX, Plymouth
