The 1897 Mappin & Webb Victorian Silver Princess Plate triple deposit Egg Coddler Complete Set is a rare and valuable antique silverplate piece from the United Kingdom. This elegant set features intricate Victorian style detailing and is composed of silverplate, making it a stunning addition to any antique silver collection. The coddler set includes the main piece with lid and knob of a morning glory, four egg cups with attached plates, the burner and 4 egg holder rack. The Set is in nice (as found and not polished tarnished condition), two of the plates have small bends, otherwise no dents or wear to the silver, came from my great aunt's estate has been in a cabinet for years, when I removed the lid, the air had not gotten inside as shown, beautiful silver when polished, has an embossed crest of an arm holding an arrow on the lid, unsure of its meaning. The numbers on the bottom of the main piece date the set, W11577 & RD289501.
