Beautifully hand-painted in soft pastel tones, this highly detailed piece includes ornate applied floral beads and draped gowns characteristic of Dresden-style German porcelain.
The underside bears an impressed mold number 9568 and a faint crown-like symbol, common among Continental German factories around the turn of the century (attributed German, Sitzendorf / Dresden style).
This vase would have originally held dried flowers, a candle, or even writing quills, and now makes a perfect decorative centerpiece, mantle display piece, or collector’s accent décor.
A wonderful example of old-world craftsmanship – even with its age-related wear, it remains a charming, romantic collectible.
