The barrel-shaped container includes a wood-grain patterned trim and a lid adorned with equestrian symbols, reflecting the mid-century British affinity for traditional sporting themes in decorative household packaging.

• Bottom marked with manufacturer information from Chester-Le-Street, County of Durham

Condition: Good vintage condition overall. The exterior lithography shows minor paint loss and surface scratches consistent with age and shelf wear, particularly along the edges and vertical seam. The gold-tone bottom has visible surface scratching and small indentations. The interior remains relatively clean with minimal oxidation. Lid fits securely and the decorative knob is intact.
