Made by the Great British Card Company in collaboration with Morris & Co. Small fabric slim pencil case with outer pattern of Leicester and inner fabric of Daffodil both designs by John Henry Dearle (1859-1932) for Morris & Co. Has a gold look zip closure and a Morris & Co. branded toggle.

Leicester was designed as a wallpaper in 1912 by John Henry Dearle for Morris & Co. Dearle worked for the firm for 54 years, becoming Art Director after the death of William Morris in 1896, designing over 30 wallpapers and 40 textiles.
