Original limited edition lithograph, 9.75 x 14.75 inches, by Art Spiegelman drawn exclusively for Carlson & Turner books of Portland, Maine in 1993 for their 1994 calendar.

The title of his drawing is The Library, and it is exclusive to this lithographic broadside calendar.  It was published by The Ascensius Press in an edition of only 1,000 copies ( see photos).

The owners of the bookstore at the time knew many illustrators and artists, and they commissioned a broadside calendar each year that they would provide to their customers. I obtained this directly from the booksellers themselves and will provide to the buyer a certificate of authenticity as to its provenance and age.

This is quite scarce, condition is very good.
