Vintage 1950s USS Consolation medical ship ashtray that dates to the Korean war.

 The USS Consolation was one of three Haven-class hospital ships activated for Korea. She served from 1950 onward, became famous for performing the first helicopter medevac transfers of wounded directly to a hospital ship, and was a base for MASH-style surgical care.
