Condition Report:

• Overall: Acceptable vintage condition.

• Exterior: Heavy cosmetic liquid/water staining and noticeable pink dye bleeding on the front and rear cloth boards, as well as the inside endpapers and outer margins of the first few leaves.

• Binding: The inner hinges at both the front and back covers are cracked, showing exposed webbing. The binding remains functional.

• Interior: Despite the exterior staining, the interior text block is intact and clean. Pages are fully legible and completely free of modern handwriting, underlining, or missing text.

• Provenance: Features a small former institutional ink stamp dated "FEB 20 1986."

Historical Context:

A significant early 20th-century work in the "New Thought" and "Mind Power" movement. This original 1923 first edition provides a unique, historic perspective on the evolution of self-help and practical psychology in early 20th-century America.
