Guillaume Colletet (1598-1659) est un poète et essayiste français, qui fut l'un des premiers membres de l'Académie française.
Il est l'auteur d'une importante série de biographies des poètes français médiévaux et modernes, dont le manuscrit brula lors de l'incendie de la Bibliothèque du Louvre, dans la nuit du 23 au 24 mai 1871.
Certains textes furent sauvés (celui-ci fut même publié avant ledit incendie), grâce au travail de Léopold Pannier.

Guillaume Colletet (1598–1659) was a French poet and essayist who was one of the first members of the Académie française.
He is the author of a major series of biographies of medieval and modern French poets, the manuscript of which was destroyed in the fire at the Louvre Library on the night of May 23–24, 1871.
Some texts were saved (this one was even published before the fire), thanks to the efforts of Léopold Pannier.
