Here we have a lovely vintage West German copper and brass wall planter by Stockburger. It retains its original makers label to the reverse and likely dates to around the 1950's or 60's. Founded by Karl and Ernst Stockburger in Germany in 1919, the company became well known for producing quality metalwares and precision engineered products, with many of their decorative household items being exported throughout Europe during the mid 20th century. It is beautifully made, the planter features a hand formed copper body framed by a brass wire support with an integral hanging loop, creating a clean and understated mid century design. Ideal for displaying a small trailing plant or dried flowers. It measures approximately 5.5 inches by 4 inches by just under 2.25 inches. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
