This is ww II Croatian Air Force pilot badge Type II ( embroidered reproduction type). The badge shows a wreathed eagle clutching the checkered Croatian coat of arms with a "U" for Ustasša (Croatian Revolutionary Movement), together forming the coat of arms for the Independent State of Croatia (1941-1945). The letters across the top (NDH) stand for Nezavisna Drzava Hrvatska (or Independent State of Croatia). Measurements 2 3/8" x 2". The patch is rare reproduction. .
