Style & Form: The piece is a Dresden-style / Rococo Revival porcelain wall mirror. It features an asymmetrical, fluidly scrolled cartouche frame accented with delicate gold gilt highlights along the porcelain ridges Figural Elements (Cherubs/Putti):
At the very top crest, two beautifully sculpted, winged cherubs are seated amongst encrusted flowers, playing musical instruments (one holds a cymbal/horn, the other a triangle).
Two additional cherubs are delicately perched on the lower left and right curves of the frame, dynamically interacting with the mirror's border.
Floral Encrustation: The entire perimeter of the frame is adorned with individually hand-formed, applied porcelain flowers—primarily roses in shades of pink, soft orange, and yellow—complete with detailed green leaves
Construction: The porcelain frame is mounted onto a custom-shaped wooden backing board, held together with metal tabs as shown at the edge of the stamp photos.
This is a beautiful, highly collectible example of German porcelain craftsmanship, mimicking the opulence of 19th-century European palace decor.
