This listing is for a “one of a kind”, screen used movie prop from the 2015 American dark fantasy action film, The Last Witch Hunter directed by Breck Eisner. This Witch Queen (Julie Engelbrecht) screen used, quarterstaff measures 67”L x 13”W. This ornate witch staff is constructed from rubber, leather, & resin and combines a large predator bird’s skull on top with several rows of goat’s teeth on the underside. A bone necklace with several locks of braided hair hangs from the skull. The shaft is made from femur bones tied together with stretched skin straps. A small animal skull rests on the butt end of the staff. A truly menacing looking piece! This item has been production created for use in this movie and has been maliciously detailed (aged/distressed) for the film.

Film Plot:
The modern world holds many secrets, but the most astounding secret of all is that witches still live amongst us. Armies of witch hunters battled the unnatural enemy across the globe for centuries, including Kaulder (Vin Diesel), a valiant warrior who managed to slay the all-powerful queen witch (Julie Engelbrecht), decimating her followers in the process. In the moments right before her death, the queen curses Kaulder with her own immortality, forever separating him from his beloved wife and daughter in the afterlife. Today Kaulder is the only one of his kind remaining, and has spent centuries hunting down rogue witches, all the while yearning for his long-lost loved ones. However, unbeknownst to Kaulder, the Queen Witch is resurrected and seeks revenge on her killer causing an epic battle that will determine the survival of the human race.
