Fore Innovations FCV Axial Poppet Check Valve

Fitment
- Do not install on returnless fuel systems without pressure relief valve
- Not required on SN95, Lightning, or WK1 Cherokee, Hellcat sedan platforms with checked pumps
- Use "-10 o-ring" inlet or outlet to connect directly to the inlet of Fore Innovations fuel filter or y-block.
Q: Where should I install the FCV?
A: Closer to the fuel pump is ideal to "trap" as much fuel in the feed line as possible; however, it is often more convenient to install directly on the fuel filter or y-block. Our customers report that keeping the FCV withing 3-4 feet [1 meter] from the fuel pump is effective.
Q: Should I purchase an FCV?
A: It depends on your application. Some fuel pumps already have checkvalves, so FCV is not needed in this case. Generally speaking, dual sump/tank vehicles with return fuel systems are the best candidates for FCV. Do not install FCV in returnless fuel systems.
Q: Why does my fuel pressure slowly bleed down, even with FCV installed?
A: Check valves prevent reverse flow...they do not generate pressure. Upgraded fuel systems (large fuel pumps, large feed line volume) should be expected to nearly ALWAYS drop fuel pressure when the fuel pump is shut down, even with a check valve installed. Nonetheless, the FCV will prevent the feed line from draining back to the tank, and this will allow fuel pressure to be re-established rapidly when the fuel pump is activated for prime or engine start.
Q: I installed an FCV with the expectation that my starting conditions would improve, but the difference was negligible.
A: Check your fuel pressure while starting. If you have good pressure while the starter motor is turning the motor, ask your tuner adjust the hot/cold start parameters, as appropriate.

Returns
Returns are accepted within 30 Calendar days. Purchased Items must be in new unused condition and in the original packaging as you received it and the SEAL NOT Broken or Opened.
