The Petromax is probably the best-known strong light lamp in the world. The name Petromax goes back to the commercial councilor Max Graetz, who invented the lamp at the beginning of the 20th century. Century developed in Germany. His friends called him “Petroleum Maxe,” which gave rise to the abbreviation Petromax . On November 5th, 1910 the name was protected by law. In the years that followed, the lamp became a bestseller par excellence. It was manufactured in millions of units and sold all over the world.
