A rather stylish George V hallmarked sterling silver bon bon bowl with a thick scalloped rim and pedestal foot. Hallmarked to the side of the bowl for Barker Brothers, Birmingham, 1931.

The bowl measures 11.5cm across the mouth and 6.7cm across the foot. Height is approx 8cm. Weight is a good, heavy 187g. The foot is not loaded, the bowl is solid silver.

Condition: The bowl has some areas of light tarnish which can be cleaned away if desired. The hallmark is slightly rubbed, but still very much legible. No dents to the smooth side of the bowl and no deformations to the rim. The foot rim has one shallow dent to the very edge as shown in picture 10. A good example overall.
