Beautifully inlaid Sorrento music box. For centuries artists in southern Italy have been renowned for their intricate designs in inlaid wood. Each piece of naturally-colored wood is cut, individually fitted & placed to create the patterns on this magnificent inlaid Wood Music box. Minor surface scratches consistent with its age. Made in Italy, musical device plays edelweiss. Please note that the musical device is temperamental and once wound it may play without the lid being opened.
