Petri 7S 35mm rangefinder camera with f/1.8 45mm Petri Color Corrected Super lens and Circle Eye selenium metering system. Made in Japan, produced approximately 1961 to 1966. Shutter speeds 1 through 500 plus B. Comes with original Petri ever-ready leather case and shoulder strap.

Camera body is cosmetically solid with normal chrome wear consistent with age. The Petri 1.8/45mm lens glass is clear with only minor internal dust specks typical of a 60-year-old optic. No fungus, haze, or separation visible. Shutter fires across speeds. Selenium meter is present but untested and should be assumed non-functional, as is standard practice for cameras of this era. The ever-ready case shows heavy leather deterioration with cracking and peeling around the lens cutout, but remains structurally intact and holds the camera securely. Shoulder strap included. Individual parts seem to work but not film tested.

A classic piece of 1960s Japanese rangefinder design with a fast, well-regarded lens. Makes an excellent display camera or a starting point for a film shooter willing to run a test roll.
