Exquisite late Victorian (c. 1890–1895) bodice in a white silk jacquard featuring a delicate woven leaf and floral motif. The garment is detailed with a tiered silk chiffon embroidered ruffled collar and a dramatic center back waist bow with extra-long formal ties. The interior remains structurally sound with original cotton lining, internal boning, and metal hook-and-eye closures.

Condition: This item is being sold in "as-is" antique condition. There is minor age-related staining/spotting throughout and significant shattering/shredding of the silk at both underarms. The silk is splitting slightly at the top of the sleeves. Best suited for study, pattern-making, or archival display. Please view all photos prior to purchasing, and do not hesitate to ask additional questions.
