This listing is for an original "Silver Laced by Circle Y" rivet back concho. Measuring 1/2" x 5/8" oval with a rivet post back. Back is not marked, but it is silver plated or nickle silver. I don't believe this was ever mounted onto leather, but it does show tarnishing and wear from being handled and hanging out in a silver drawer. See photos. You will need the backing to attach this piece or split the post and bend it over to attach. This piece would have typically been found on silver laced saddles from the 1960-70's, back when silver laced show sets were popular in the show ring. Circle Y usually mounted one of these onto the latigo or tie strap holder of the silver laced series saddles.
