This is a Vintage SEARS COMPANION No. 2 Polishing Head / Arbor without the Drive Pulley. It is 8 1/4" tall overall and has a 1/2" x 9" spindle. The Case Iron Base has the Raised Number 2 and has Part of the Original Companion Label. 

One End of the Spindle has 3 1/4" Threaded and the Other End 1 5/8" Threaded. It has No Chips or Cracks. The Bronze Bushings are Worn a Little to Allow Some Wobble.
