3164606 Cylinder Liner Press Installer fit for Cummins ISX X15 Liner Press.
Replace for part number 3164606, ST-269. Supersedes 3162461.
This (for) isx liner installer works on flat-top and grooved-top liners. This liner press tool is designed to install antipolishing rings without damaging the liner and antipolising ring.
Made of high quality solid steel with black anodizing, and application of precise mechanical design, sturdy and durable, impact-resistant, corrosion-resistant.




1. Position the antipolishing ring on the top of the cylinder liner counterbore. Align ring so it sitssquarely on top of the counterbore.
2. Install the cylinder liner puller plate, in the center of the antipolishing ring.
3. Install the cylinder liner puller plate with the bottom facing up for proper seating and alignment.
4. Install the cylinder liner installation tool, Part Number 3164606, over the antipolishing ring andpuller plate.
5. Thread the installation tool down slowly, pressing the antipolishing ring into the liner counterbore.
6. If the antipolishing ring severely misaligns while pressing it into place, stop the installation processand inspect for damage.
7. If both the liner and antipolising ring are undamaged, repeat the above steps.
