Beautiful original vintage Large 'Summertime' pattern Chintz Ascot shape footed Teapot with all over decoration.
It is in excellent vintage condition,with strong colours,,free from damage, repairs,or crazing, apart from a small shallow chip under one of the feet,which is difficult to see when the teapot is in the upright position. The gilding is also in good order with one tiny pin head fleck missing on the tip of the spout,and a flea bite to the inner rim of the lid. Both insignificant.
A nice original example,not a later re -issue in a desirable pattern to add to a vintage Chintz collection. Buy it now,or make an offer.
