Features the classic Islanders crest sewn to the chest, sewn number 19 on the sleeves and back, and traditional heavyweight knit hockey jersey construction. Produced during the Islanders’ dynasty era, when the club became one of the most dominant teams in NHL history.

Based on the Sandow Sporting Knit label and construction, this jersey dates to approximately the late 1970s to early 1980s. The number 19 is associated with Hall of Famer Bryan Trottier during that time.

This jersey comes from a large collection acquired from a longtime concert and touring industry employee who worked with numerous well-known bands, concert promoters, and touring organizations from the 1970s through the early 2000s. The collection includes concert, promotional, crew, production, and industry-related apparel accumulated throughout decades in the live music business. According to the collection history, many sports and event-related items were purchased while traveling and working tours throughout North America.

Fits like a size medium (21” x 30”). Has been washed but there is a little color bleeding on the sleeve and another spot on the front. See photos for condition in more detail.
