This vintage rare Confederate 1864 currency is a highly sought-after piece of history. The CSA Treasury Stamp is clear and the denomination is $10. The note shows signs of use, adding to its authenticity. T68, indicating its great condition.


The item is uncertified and the certification number is not applicable. It was printed in the United States during the Civil War in Richmond. It is hand cut and signed in Iron Gull Ink, as you can see the on the signatures and serial number. The paper is soft and thin to the touch.

This was previously bought at an auction. It’s marked on plastic protector, T 68 it’s also marked by hand VF-20 This will come in a plastic protector. The serial number is 16039. It’s signed the engraver plate is Evans’s & Cogswell it’s is also marked Keatinge and Ball Columbia SC. The scenes is horses pulling cannon, Robert M.T Hunter

I do not know who marked it with T68 vF20 it doesn’t have a professional grade, all I know is that this is what it’s marked on the sticker of the plastic protector. This in my opinion is in really nice condition for Civil War era money. It appears who ever had this kept it in very good condition it.
