Up for auction is a remarkable, full-size Bell racing helmet commemorating the 101st Running of the Indianapolis 500 (held May 28, 2017). This helmet features the official event graphics prominently on both sides, presented by PennGrade Motor Oil, alongside the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway wing-and-wheel logo on the jaw.
The visor is hand-signed in gold Sharpie by 2017 (and 2-time) Indy 500 Winner Takuma Sato. This style of helmet is consistent with those utilized for the high-speed IndyCar two-seater rides at IMS during the historic 2017 month of May, making it an incredibly unique piece of racing history.

- Autograph: Signed on the clear Bell visor in gold Sharpie. The signature has clean, sharp lines with no ink bleeding, though it shows some minor flaking and light tracking wear on the lower ink strokes from handling and storage over time (please see close-up photos).
- Helmet Shell: The gloss white finish is bright and clean. It displays some minor scuffs, light surface marks, and small signs of cosmetic wear consistent with track or promotional use.
