This is a vintage iridescent white glass Heart Shaped Trinket Box made by Fenton Art Glass in West Virginia in the 1990's. The lid features embossed scrolling leaves and flowers with applied blue, yellow and pink roses and rose buds in the center. It has a scalloped edge that blends nicely with the faux columns on the sides of the bottom. The bottom sits on 3 small foot sets to minimize marring of any table surface or the bottom of the trinket box. The bottom is marked "Fenton" in an oval with a "9". It is about 2 inches tall including the applied roses, 3-7/8" wide at its widest, and 3-3/4" from the top of the heart lobes to the heart point. This trinket box is not only functional but also a beautiful
decorative piece, made with Fenton's signature art glass production
style, and adds a touch of elegance and charm to any space with
its iridescent finish, fantastic detail, and delicate flower theme. Perfect for storing
small trinkets or jewelry, this heart-shaped box is a lovely addition to
any collection.
The outside is in excellent condition with great color and no cracks, breaks, chips, or fleabites. The inside center of the bottom has some finish blemishes, most likely from a sticker that was removed later in its life (see last photo for closeup).
