Vintage 1982 Walt Disney World EPCOT Center Commemorative Medal Coin First Generation Original and 1982 Original Figment Magnet

This is an original first generation 1982 EPCOT Center souvenir medal, issued the year EPCOT opened. It features Spaceship Earth, the original Future World icons, and classic early EPCOT typography. The reverse displays the original EPCOT Center logo, making this a highly collectible piece from the park’s earliest era. This piece is extra special because it is first issue, first generation. It shows artistic shadowing throughout the coin design, also in a hard plastic shell case with the original 1982 price tag. Shortly after these coinsstarted selling, to save money in the future printing, Disney did not have shadowing in the art of the medal on coin; also they were sold in a clear plastic envelope or sleave.

The medal comes in its original blue and plastic presentation case with the Walt Disney Productions branding and price sticker, presented on its original plastic case. 

The Epcot Figment magnet has a fun picture of Figment on the front, and is stamped and copyrighted Walt Disney World 1982 on the back. These are both great additions for EPCOT collectors, Disneyana enthusiasts, or anyone who loves early-era Walt Disney World history.
