Original vintage New York City Transit Authority porcelain subway sign from the Kingsbridge station. This is an authentic piece of New York City transit history, featuring the classic black on white design once found throughout the NYC subway system.

Manufactured by Baltimore Enamel, 200 Fifth Avenue, New York, this 12” x 12” porcelain enamel sign is original — not a reproduction. These signs were mounted on subway platform pillars throughout the system before the Transit Authority transitioned to the later white-on-black signage style.

A fantastic collectible for fans of New York City history, subway memorabilia, railroadiana, urban transit, or vintage porcelain advertising signs. An excellent display piece and a true conversation starter.
