This coat is an early-war example with a Philadelphia Quartermaster Depot contract tag dated March 15, 1941. Size is 36R. The uniform retains its original Army Air Forces insignia, Technician Fourth Grade rank, ribbon bar, shoulder patch, and service stripes.
Interior contains period ink markings including what appears to read:
“AHR”
“J-65-197”
“6520”
These markings may represent laundry or service identification numbers.
