24-inch Pond Filter Brush work in 3 ways:
1	They physically trap the large particles with the interlocking filaments.
2	The filaments have a static charge that secures small debris until maintenance is done. This charge holds onto the waste until you do your routine cleaning.
3	Each brush creates a ton of surface area for beneficial aerobic bacteria to grow and cultivate. The design of the filtering brushes makes them easy to clean and maintain.
