--- Super-16: Super-16 gate is installed into the camera. Fully supports Super-16 format.
--- Ultra-16: Ultra-16 gate is installed into the camera. Fully supports Ultra-16 format.
--- Super-16 + R/M: Super-16 gate is installed into the camera, lens mount is converted, the lens mount seat is milled in several places on high-precision equipment. Lens mount can be set to standard centered and Super-16 recentered position by user. As default lens mount is set to Super-16 recentered.
--- Super-Ultra-16 +R/M: MULTIFORMAT CAMERA. Universal gate is installed into the camera. Super-16 or Ultra-16 frame can be trimmed out from footage after sooting (usually at the stage of scanning). Lens mount is also universal. The lens mount seat is milled, it allows to set mount part in normal centered (Ultra-16 centered) and Super-16 recentered position by user. By default lens mount is set to originally centered position.
--- Standard-16: the camera will be shipped with standard-16 film gate as it came from the factory. All parts inside will be serviced as usually.

What is RECENTERED mount for Super-16 gate? The camera was professionally modified, so original lens mount can be installed in standard (centered) position and Super-16 (recentered) position easily by buyer. Modification almost not seen from the outside. This is NOT a low quality recentered lens mount part. Lens mount part is high quality original and not modified. We install it as Super-16 recentered, buyer can install it back to original position within 1 minute.
Thus, this camera is universal instrument with centerd/recentered lens mount.

The camera has been converted to Super-16 or Ultra-16 at Synoptics Camera Service Shop. The film gate was cut at the factory, its shape is very accurate. The camera shoots on Super-16 film with Super-16 or Ultra-16 frame size. Viewfinder is not modified. The camera can also be loaded with standard 16mm film.

Recently serviced (CLA) by our professional technicians, the camera is ready for years of use. All controls work smoothly, the gear washed and is now flawless, viewfinder is clean.
