Antique 1920's Art Deco Era Dance Makeup Compact in a silver tone metal, with etched detailing, a hand painted guilloche enamel rose inlaid on front. There is a nice sturdy chain that would have been carried on a wrist. All the clasps, hinges and mechanisms inside are in working condition and nice and sturdy. Includes the original sized powder and rouge pads. There is loose powder inside also. There is a small oval section on inside of left compact for rouge that closes with a clasp and on the right is the powder section with a little powder sifter that lets one adjust the amount of powder that can flow out. All these tiny detailed mechanisms are just unique
