Compared to flat climbing shoes, its moderate downturn makes a noticeable difference on overhung sport routes and boulders. Vibram’s softer XS Grip 2 rubber compound gives greater grip strength on a variety of rocky and plastic terrain. The unlined upper has leather, microfiber, and rubber that resist stretching and improve toe-hooking. A padded tongue provides more comfort, and La Sportiva lined the tongue in cotton for better breathability.
