The shawl features an elegant square composition highlighted by four beautifully detailed, symmetrical paisley (buta) medallions sweeping gracefully inward from each corner. The entire center field is enclosed by a fine, dense running border band of matching intricate floral and vine embroidery. The needlework utilizes a rich color palette dominated by magenta pink, crimson red, and orange accents, beautifully defining the classical South Asian floral patterns. Condition
The wool shawl is in great vintage condition, with the woven textile base preserving its overall suppleness, natural warmth, and high fabric integrity.
