1964 LOUISIANA 44,000-lb PRIVATE TRACTOR license plate. Steel tag uses a brick red base with reflective rough white embossed lettering and rims. 100% ORIGINAL PAINT, with NO TOUCH-UPS. Includes state nickname "SPORTSMAN'S PARADISE" embossed at bottom, like most LA issues from this era. Appears to be UNUSED – there is NO WEAR TO BOLT HOLES.

Plate is STRAIGHT and lies FLAT, with no bends, no dents, and no extra holes. Paint is SOLID and strong, with BRILLIANT gloss. Some rust stains at bottom and on back, with a few rough spots to paint, and a chip to the metal at bottom rim, very likely from exposure to moisture with plate being improperly stored. Still GREAT COLOR CONTRAST and makes a SUPER DISPLAY. Can easily be remounted on wall or other flat surface. Please, check out all the attached photos for details!
